About Batterymarch Group LLC
Brokerage Without Conflicts
With a strong investment background, we adhere to a strict valuation discipline. We’re not cheerleaders for every property or transaction that comes along – the deal has to make sense for our clients.
Our independence affords us the flexibility to offer negotiated fees and an à la carte pricing structure. Placing our clients’ interests first is at the core of what we do (see our Fiduciary Commitment).

Andrew also was President of the investment consulting firm Chittenden & Company and Managing Director at Coach House Capital Corporation, an alternative asset private equity firm.

Downtown Boston’s most insightful real estate newsletter.
There is an unspoken code in the real estate sales community – keep your opinions to yourself. It makes no difference if a property is a total disaster or insanely overpriced, the party line is look the other way. We call these sales people “the cheerleaders.”
We come from the investment industry where opinions matter. Our clients want to know our opinions, to a large extent it’s what they are paying us for. We recognize that not everyone will agree with our opinions, and we welcome your comments and feedback. We also acknowledge that from time to time our opinions will be completely wrong, that’s the nature of opinions.
We hope that you find these pages informative, educational, and maybe even humorous once in a while.
“The Batterymarch Insider is an absolute must read for both buyers and sellers of downtown Boston real estate.”
“A refreshingly straight forward and honest look at real estate valuation, what’s selling and what’s not – and why.”
