Your piece on this house sounds like you may be upset you were not the listing agent. I have experienced that pool and the adjacent steam room and there are no fumes or smells of chlorine in the air or in the rest of the house. Do you honestly think that a person that spent serious money to create such a lavish space wouldn’t have considered the HVAC requirements to make sure the pool area and home are free of chlorination odors? Think before you write such bad comments, you sound like a jealous agent.

Thank you for your thoughtful comment and I’m glad you enjoyed your day at the pool.

Just for clarification, while I do have a real estate broker’s license, I'm not a real estate “agent” or a “realtor,” and I don’t accept listings or traditional commissions. I do provide consultive services that are not tied to transaction fees.

Our independence from the traditional sales channel isolates us from the very things you suggest.

With respect to odors, everyone has a different level of sensitivity. My comments were based on my first hand experience in the property - it was my opinion, others may have different opinions.

Our cautionary opinion of the property was based more on liquidity concerns relative to what we see as limited demand for Beacon Hill homes with indoor swimming pools. It should be noted that well over 200 days later, the property is still on the market. We’ll take the “dub” on that one!
